• SHERWIN I. SELIGSOHN - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

  Sherwin I. Seligsohn is the founder of the Company and serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Seligsohn was the founder and served as the Chairman of the Board of InterDigital Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC), formerly International Mobile Machines Corporation, from August 1972 to June 1990. From June 1990 to October 1991, he was the Chairman Emeritus of that corporation. Mr. Seligsohn is also the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of (i) Universal Display Corporation a public company (NASDAQ: PANL); (ii) International Multi-Media Corporation, an Information Science and Technology Venture Group; (iii) Wireless Unified Network Systems Corporation, a development stage company and former wholly-owned, subsidiary of International Multi-Media Corporation; and, (iv) American Biomimetics Corporation, a new materials sciences and technology venture group.


• DEAN L. LEDGER - President

  Dean L. Ledger has served as a director and senior executive of the Company since its inception. Mr. Ledger has significant experience in capital formation and business building. Mr. Ledger is also Executive Vice President-Corporate Development of Universal Display Corporation. From July 1994 to January 2001, Mr. Ledger served as a member of the Board of Directors of Universal Display Corporation. From December 2001 to July 2003, Mr. Ledger served as a member of the Board of Directors of North American Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NATK). Mr. Ledger served as a consultant to InterDigital Communications, Inc. from October 1989 to April 1991. From May 1991 until October 1992, Mr. Ledger was a consultant to the IntelCom Group. Prior to October 1989, Mr. Ledger spent 12 years as a financial consultant with E.F. Hutton, Shearson Lehman Brothers and Paine Webber. He is a graduate of Colorado College (B.A., Business Administration, 1972).

• AARON L. WADELL - Executive Vice President

  Aaron L. Wadell has served as a Director of the Company since October 2003. From November 2002 through October 2003, Mr. Wadell served as a management consultant with GPEC. Mr. Wadell was previously a Principal with the Philadelphia-based investment and advisory firm, Katalyst where he served in various executive management roles with Katalyst clients and portfolio companies in the energy, digital media and broadcast industries. From 1987 - 1998, Mr. Wadell held progressively more responsible general management and marketing executive positions with corporations including Procter & Gamble, Campbell Soup and VWR Scientific Products, Inc. Mr. Wadell is a graduate of the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University (M.B.A., 1987) and Cornell University's College of Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E., 1983). He is an advisor for The Friends of Trisomy 21 Center a charitable organization raising funds for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

• DAVID WM. BOONE - Director 


  David Wm. Boone has served as a director of the Company since 2000. Mr. Boone has worked as a consumer and environmental attorney since 1980. His interests and experience include evaluation of renewable and sustainable resources and the consideration of the environmental impact of the same. He is a graduate of Samford University (J.D., 1978) and the University of Central Florida (B.A., 1975).

  
  

  
  

• JOHN D. KUHNS - Director

  John D. Kuhns has served as a director of the Company since April 2000. Mr. Kuhns is President and founder of Kuhns Brothers, a private investment banking company. He has more than 30 years of experience in energy and alternative energy related businesses and investment banking. In 2002, Mr. Kuhns founded GenSelf, which sells photovoltaic systems to residential and light industry customers in southern California. In 1996, Mr. Kuhns founded The Solar Electric Light Company (SELC), the first company to successfully sell solar home systems to customers off the grid in the third world. Mr. Kuhns was the first institutional investor in SELCO, where he remains a significant shareholder and is the Company's Vice-Chairman. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Kuhns founded and was Chairman and CEO of New World Power Corporation (NWPC), one of the first successful distributed power companies. NWPC assembled and sold stand-alone renewable power generating equipment, principally solar and wind power facilities used in either grid support or remote applications. NWPC went public in 1992 and was sold to ACX Technologies in 1996. From 1982 to 1988, Mr. Kuhns was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Energy Corporation, one of the nation's first and largest successful Independent Power Companies. Catalyst Energy Corp. was cited as one of the nation's fastest growing public companies from 1982 to 1987, according to Inc. Magazine. In 1988, Catalyst Energy was sold to what is now Brascan, a Canadian holding company. In 1998, Mr. Kuhns founded the Strategic Electric Power Fund, LLC and related funds to capitalize on trends being established by the deregulation of the electric power industry. Mr. Kuhns began his career at Salomon Brothers in 1976, where he was involved in financing publicly owned Electric Utilities. In the mid 1980's, Mr. Kuhns merged his investment company with another to form Kuhns Brothers & Laidlaw, the predecessor of Kuhns Brothers. Kuhns Brothers & Laidlaw acted as investment banker for initial and secondary public offerings of emerging growth companies. The Firm was the lead managing underwriter of the initial public offering of Calenergy, the largest geothermal company in the world. Mr. Kuhns is a graduate of The Harvard Business School (M.B.A., 1977), University of Chicago (M.S., Fine Arts, 1975) and Georgetown University (A.B., Sociology and Fine Arts, 1972).

• JEAN S. MOORE - Director 


  Jean S. Moore has served as a director of the Company since January 2004. Ms. Moore is currently of counsel to the Washington D.C. law firm Hogan & Hartson L.L.P., where she was a partner for approximately 24 years. Ms. Moore joined the firm in 1974 and became a Partner in 1980. From 1972-1974 she was in the Honors Program of the United States Department of Justice and subsequently joined the White House Office of Special Counsel as Staff Assistant to the President during the Nixon Administration. She was appointed by the Republican National Committee to be Deputy General Counsel of its 1984 Convention. From 1988 to Present, she has served as a mediator for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. In 1999, Ms. Moore was named by the CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution as its "1999 ADR Scholar." She has lectured extensively at the International Development Law Institute in Rome, Italy, to government officials and legal counsel from developing countries on alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Moore has spent time representing pro bono clients in civil and criminal litigation on behalf of various public service organizations. A member of the Bar of the District of Columbia, Ms. Moore has practiced before the federal courts in most circuits. Ms. Moore is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Law, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif (J.D., 1972), and Ohio State University (B.A., 1969).
